How did you get started in prophetic worship?
- After we met in Nashville attending the same church, we began worshipping together and experimenting with the concepts of spontaneous prophetic worship.  We clearly encountered a path that just grew stronger over time. It really helped us to lead worship in a small group, Kimberly would mainly sing out of the scriptures and it was a safe place to make mistakes and learn.

What is soaking music?
- The word soaking has become known lately in a broader way, it started in the renewal cicles, it was associated with soaking prayer, which was a model of praying for people while waiting and sensing the Lord's heart for the person being prayed for.

In the same way, soaking music can have those qualities that can be of great help in waiting, resting, meditating on God and His promises, etc.

In this day and age, it is very hard to quiet our hearts to a place where we can hear our heavenly Father speak to us, that still small voice. Soaking music is mainly instrumental which creates space for God to speak directly to His children. It is a much needed balance in our gatherings that are so filled with human words, our worship included.

For us, soaking is mainly a meeting place between God and His children, we try not to focus on a structure or pattern.  Remember that we are coming to be with a person. His presence is the most important element, and learning to flow in the Spirit of God is of utmost importance because that's were the life is! "God is Spirit and those who worship him must worship Him in spirit and truth"

Our soaking sessions can be very intimate and quiet or get very loud and ramboncious, because we are trying to hear what the Spirit is doing, whether is praise, quiet listening, intercession, prophetic songs, or a big'ol party! The goal is interaction and oneness with God as Jesus prayed... "...that they would be one, just as you and me are one..."

The purpose of soaking, as we see it, is to find His life, connect with His Presence, our daily bread, and to know Him again and again.

Is the word soaking in scripture?
- Not that we know of, but the concept is all over the scriptures. It is the idea of being hidden, submerged, if you will, into God's grace and every promise and blessing. We enter into His rest.
There are many references of the Spirit of God being a river, Ezequiel 47 is a classic example of being overtaken by the rising waters where he was led by this river... "so where the river flows everything will live." We long to be "in" the river of God and soaking really helps us to grasp that concept a little more.
David was led to "quiet waters" to restore his soul and so can we.
The word "trinity" is not in the bible either but we would all agree that it helps in describing the magnificent three persons of the God-head.

How do you start a soaking group?
- The best place is probably your own home, gather those who have a desire for more. You can start by using CDs that pull you up and into His Presence, get also instrumentals for that needed space in the word domain. You can also find one musician that would be willing to play, it does not need to be a singer or a regular "worship leader". The goal is to have no expectation or pressure whatsoever on the minstrel, just freedom to experiment and learn to sense the Presence of the Lord and His leading.

Alberto, how do you get your sound on the keyboards?
- I like to layer different textures from different sound modules.  My main sound module is called Sonic Cell by Roland, then I also use sounds from my laptop, Omnisphere is amazing. Everything connects through a midi interface, so I just use whatever keyboard the venue has as a controller, and then use my sounds.  You really have to spend some time getting to know and crafting your presets.  Use what inspire you and makes you want to play!
